Brock Builders was the general contractor on the construction of this home in Biltmore forest. Together with architects ACM Design we held an open house construction tour for some Asheville REALTORs. This is a custom home we built in the mountains of Asheville. Keep an eye out for the barrel vault ceiling in the large bar room that the homeowners use for entertaining. It’s one of my favorite details in this home. The building site was particularly challenging; you can see some photos of the foundation work in the portfolio area of our site. The outcome was fantastic, the homeowners are very happy, and we’re glad they chose Brock Builders to be their general contractor.

Large Home Remodeling Project Video

We put together this video showing some images of a major home remodel we have underway. This has been a fun, and challenging, project so far. Some rooms have been added and many Marvin windows installed. One of the more interesting features of this remodel is the outdoor pizza oven. We have also added some architectural features such as a large shed dormer and raised ceiling in the great room.

We’ll post more about this remodel as it nears completion. Stay tuned for some “after” photos and videos.
